Marking + Mutations suggestions thread

I have a lot of ideas, so I've tried to organize it as best I can. Also, I'll probably end up randomly adding more as other ideas pop into my head, I'll try to mark any new ideas as such. Lastly, most of the markings can be used on whatever type of creature if you want to mix and match the ideas, I just kind of put them where I thought they fit best.

Fur

markings

Speckled (body marking) - like the ticking and freckles markings, but all over the body.
Side Marks (face marking) - Marks on either side of the face, leaving the middle unmarked
Face Ring (face marking) - A marking that's just along the edges of the face
Back stripes (body marking) - Vertical stripes that start out thick on the back and taper down to a point half way down the body
Full Head (face marking) - Makes the entire head a different color

mutations

Quills (mutation) - Like on a porcupine. They'd start on the top of the head and go down all along the back.

Feather

Bottom Stripe (body marking) - A stripe of color close to the bottom of the body
Top Stripe (wing marking) - A stripe of color all along the very top of the wing

mutations

Leathery Wings (mutation) - Like bat wings, though they'd probably work better for furs, the furs don't really have a category this could be put in, so I'll just leave it up to you what you want to do with them xD
Filter Beak (mutation) - A flamingo beak basically, I'm not sure whether you would classify it as omnivore or herbivore, you'd have to read up about their diet and decide for yourself

Scale

markings

Lip Lines (face marking) - A marking right along the lips, ends a little bit after the lips end
Horizontal Stripes (body marking) - Thin, horizontal stripes across the body
Vertical Stripes (body marking) - Thin, vertical stripes across the body
Diagonal Stripes (body marking) - Thin, diagonal stripes across the body
Tail Ring (tail marking) - a thick ring of color in the middle of the tail

mutations

Forked Tail (mutation) - Like a regular tail, but it splits into two thinner parts half way down.
Fangs (mutation) - Maybe this could be a mouth mutation? Like a snake mouth with fangs protruding from the mouth, or it could just be fangs protruding from the mouth.
