a chance encounter [marie]

A red fur wandered through the lush grass of Arbour's Reach. He had a traveling companion, but seemed to have lost track of him for the day. Thus he was exploring alone for the time being. He kept a close eye on his surroundings, on the look out for other Vivians. When he set out on his travels he had done so with the intent of finding his family. As such he always kept an eye out for any sign of them.

As he wandered he paused here and there to take a nibble of grass. It was thick and green throughout the area and a very convenient snack. So far he liked Arbour's Reach. It had very recently gotten quite hot and the canopy of the great tree at the center of the reach helped block out some of that heat. The shade was certainly welcome. His thick fur wasn't very good for keeping cool.

He had paused at a place where the roots the ran all throughout the reach started to get a bit too large for him to climb over. As such it seemed as good a spot as any to stop for a rest. With one last glance around to make sure he hadn't missed any creatures in the distance, he set to grazing.
